    Ingredients

    • 15 oz canned low or no salt chickpeas (reserve aquafaba)
    • 2 cloves garlic or to taste
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • 1-2 tablespoons low sodium tamari
    • 2 tablespoons tahini, optional
    • ¼ teaspoon cumin
    • 2 squirts hot sauce
    • ¼-½ cup aquafaba, the reserved chickpea liquid

    Instructions

    1. 1In a food processor or high speed blender, place garlic, lemon juice, tamari, tahini (if using), cumin and ¼ cup more of aquafaba until the hummus is a desired consistency.
